healthcare community.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the
PA's Supervising Physician or Designated Agent, provides medical
and surgical services to patients of the Urgent Care Clinic(s).--
Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of practice
as a dependent medical practitioner.--Regular Full-time Float
Providers: Act as a fill-in for any gaps in the schedule, call
outs, and/ or other coverage needs. --Are "un-anchored" to a
specific site or clinic (floating to any site within the regional
market for Legacy/ GoHealth), but with a set template (working same
days each week).Shall expect last minute changes to site
location(s)/ assignments, since these are subject to daily
fluctuations in patient volumes and/or absences of other staff that
cannot be predicted and/or easily anticipated.Shall also reasonably
expect more than one Legacy/ GoHealth clinic to require assistance
throughout any single workday; therefore, travel between locations
is also anticipated.QualificationsEducation:-- Requires Bachelor's
degree and successful completion of a PA program accredited by any
of the following accrediting bodies:Committee on Allied Health,
Education Accreditation of the American Medical Association
(CAHEA);Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education
Programs (CAAHEP);Accreditation Review Commission on the Education
of the PA (ARC-PA).--Experience:-- --Minimum two years direct
patient management experience in related setting, strongly
preferred.-- Requires knowledge of professional medical practice
and care to provide/evaluate patient care.-- Requires skill in
applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of
medicine to provide ongoing patient care.-- Must have excellent
communication skills, both verbally and written.-- Requires
proficiency with basic computer skills, knowledge of acute and
chronic disease states, administration and prescription of
medications, and delivering physical care following a treatment
