TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in Portland, Oregon, 97220! Pay Information $2,527 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience, depending on the specialty License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficient in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase - Recent specialty experience required Description: Provides coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Nursing care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits are required. Periodic office meetings will be conducted. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day ranges from 5 to 8. Contractor will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day that equate to roughly 6 to 8 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. No guaranteed hours; contractors advised to discuss financial needs if low patient census occurs. Weekend requirements may vary per location and profession. On-call requirements will vary per location and profession. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS Standard rate. No local licensed applicants will be considered if they do not meet the experience criteria. All candidates must confirm understanding of the expectations regarding driving, documentation, and patient acceptance. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the patient. Delayed and incomplete documentation affecting billing and follow-up patient care may result in cancellation. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.
