physicians, other departments, clinical and non-clinical staff.
Collaborates with Manager/Director for maintaining and improving
clinical skills through professional development and services as a
role model for other clinicians. Performs responsibilities within
the guidelines of the Hospital Policies, state regulatory and
accrediting requirements. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and
Work Experience: /n /n - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN):
Preferred /n - Master's Degree in Nursing: Preferred /n /n/n/n
Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in
the state of practice: Required /n - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)
certification: Preferred /n - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS
OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification: Preferred /n /n/n/n Essential
Functions: /n We're looking for someone to join our team as a CIS
Educator who: /n Analyzes, develops, implements, and evaluates
learning solutions for super-users and end-users of Clinical
Information Systems (CIS). Collaborates with facility and system
educators and subject matter experts in all activities related to
the delivery of workflow-based functionality education to end-users
of the CIS. Develops and delivers communication of changes and
updates to customers. /n /n - Collaborates in the development of
education/training materials and evaluation methodologies for
super-users and/or end-users, based on needs analysis and
performance goals. Analyzes, develops, and maintains
education/training resources for CIS end-users, integrating
redesigned processes and innovative educational strategies.
Distributes education for new releases and enhancements to the
clinical information systems. /n - Collaborates in the
administration of a repeatable model by which super-user and
end-user education will be executed which includes scheduling,
education process, materials, post go-live support and new user
education. /n - Collaborates with facility educators regarding the
availability and distribution of education handouts. Assists the
local Information Technology department in setting up the proper
education environment, including adequate functioning of all
equipment and furnishings. Collaborates with other Information
Technology staff to identity trends in clinician support issues. /n
- Provides go-live and ongoing end-user support coverage for the
IT/ EHR systems applications. Participates in initiatives to
support change management within the primary departments impacted
by the designated applications. Participates in project design
meetings representing education needs. /n - Participates in the
design and setup of the specialized education facilities to support
installation activities and education sessions. Identifies
potential process- and/or department-specific risks and assist in
strategies to mitigate manage and/or resolve. Participates in
organizational performance improvement teams to utilize Information
Systems in support of process change and improvement. /n - Performs
