Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring scrub experience in neuro IR, IR, or vascular procedures and Epic proficiency. Responsibilities - Position is in the Cath Lab of an acute care, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital - Responsibilities include scrubbing for neuro IR, IR, and vascular cases - Work schedule is four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 07:00–17:30 - On-call coverage required approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks - Epic EMR system is used; Epic experience is required - Scrubs are provided for the Cath Lab - Floating is required within the site and across the health system - Complete assigned education within one week of assignment start - Mandatory Epic test out required; if not passed, an additional 8-hour training session must be completed - Mandatory modules and skills testing must be completed before or during orientation - No RTO allowed in the first 2 weeks; up to 7 days of RTO may be taken after that - Candidates may be mandatorily canceled one shift per pay period for low census - Must observe a 1-year separation if previously employed at the facility - Free parking available in any unrestricted space Requirements - Active Oregon RN license or proof of application/fingerprints required for consideration - BLS and ACLS certifications are required - Prior Cath Lab RN experience with scrubbing in neuro IR, IR, or vascular cases is required - Minimum one recent manager, supervisor, or charge reference required - Epic experience required - COVID vaccination is required with no exemptions accepted - Cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622258.
