Job Title: Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab experience License: Current ARRT credential and OBMI license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: TAVR experience required Description: Electrophysiology Lab Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist. Must be a radiologic technologist with significant EP Lab experience. Required to operate fluoroscopy in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Additional responsibilities include monitoring procedures and scrubbing procedures. Unit development projects, assisting with supply and equipment management, and other duties as assigned are part of the role. Staff may be cross-trained to support EP procedures as needed. The role may involve assisting in TAVR and TMVR procedures in the Hybrid OR room. Call is required, including week nights and weekends. Candidates should have experience with complex procedures, including complex PCI, Impella, or balloon pump operations. RTs must be able to circulate and scrub EP ablations and device placements. Specific breakdown of responsibilities includes pulling supplies, setting up scrub tables, and preparing patients for procedures. Scrubbing in for venous and arterial access and running x-ray during procedures is expected. Candidates may float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities. Must comply with all relevant training and certification requirements. Epic experience is required. Background or license issues are not accepted. Must be at least 6 months since last employment with this organization if previously employed.
