Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 1 year
of recent experience required License: Current and valid RN license
Certifications: NIH Certification, BLS Must-Have: - Must have a
vehicle for this assignment - Proficient neuro skills Description:
This position is for a Medical Surgical - Neuro RN. The role
requires floating between various units as needed. On-call duties
may be required. Weekends will be required every other week. The
expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. Candidates must have
experience with CVA, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway
management. Knowledge in pre/post neurosurgery, spinal cord
injuries, and traumatic brain injury is necessary. Candidates must
commit to working three of the five major holidays. This position
requires the ability to float to other units based on skill sets
and unit needs. Candidates must have experience with computerized
documentation using the Epic system.
