hear from you! As an RN in our 53-bed unit, you’ll care for a
diverse range of patients in adult cardiology and medical-surgical
specialties, including pacemaker placements, CHF, ACS, telemetry
monitoring, and chronic conditions like diabetes, COPD, and
addiction. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment,
collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality
care. Relocation assistance available for nurses new to Legacy!
Responsibilities: - Provide direct, compassionate patient care
while adhering to Legacy Health’s high standards for patient
assessment, care delivery, and transfer. - Work with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for
every patient. - Advocate for patients by offering education and
emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys. -
Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately
document patient information and provide seamless care.
Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: Education: - Graduation
from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. - BSN
(Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred. If you’re
working towards your BSN, we encourage you to apply! - For certain
roles, a BSN is required. We also consider RNs without a BSN based
on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing
Officer. Experience: - At least one year of nursing experience, or
completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent
program). - Additional clinical experience may be required,
depending on the department. - Acute care experience preferred,
this unit will train nurses that have a strong desire to learn and
grow. Skills & Qualities: - Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to connect effectively with patients,
families, and colleagues. - Ability to navigate and utilize
electronic health systems. - Strong critical thinking and
problem-solving abilities — because in this role, every day is
different, and your expertise will make all the difference.
Licensure: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
applicable state. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for
Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA). Why
