working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Portland,
Oregon, 97227! Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse Profession:

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 1 year of
NICU experience required License: State License accepted, pending
license accepted with proof Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: No
first-time travelers accepted Description: The NICU Registered
Nurse will provide care for patients less than one year of age. The
role may require floating to care for patients in the PICU,
Pediatric Acute Care, or NICU Overflow. The schedule includes 3
shifts of 12 hours each. Two Saturdays and two Sundays are required
during a six-week period. At least one holiday is required during
the assignment. Floating among units is expected to meet facility
needs. Refusal to float may result in cancellation of the contract.
Previous travel experience is required. The candidate must possess
current certifications in BLS and NRP. Special requirements include
completing any assigned education within one week of the
assignment. The facility provides care for neonates, attending
high-risk deliveries and performing specialized procedures.
Patients include newborns admitted from various sources needing
intensive care. The NICU includes three levels of care, with
patients staying for varying lengths of time. The role involves
specialized equipment and protocols for neonatal support.
