Psychiatry - Child - Physician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center - Provider Solutions Development summary: This role is for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist providing specialized behavioral health care through Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs, focusing on mood disorders and behavioral challenges. The position involves psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and collaboration with therapy teams in a hospital setting, including consults in the emergency and pediatric departments. Providence Behavioral Health West is seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the organization. It provides specialized behavioral health care for adolescents through Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Our team uses evidence-based approaches like Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and family systems to support high-acuity patients with mood disorders and behavioral challenges. Position Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 36 patient-facing hours; limited weekend rotation. Clinical Mix: Pathways Program (PH/IOP): Care for 7-8 adolescents (ages 13-17). Outpatient: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Consults: ED and pediatric floors at Providence St. Vincent (approx. 2x/week). Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and collaboration with therapy teams. Call Coverage: 2 weeknights/month; 3 weekends/year.
