Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Portland, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,519 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Portland, Oregon, 97239! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years total Critical Care or similar experience (PACU, ED) License: Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS and ACLS must be issued by the American Heart Association or Military Training Network branch of AHA Must-Have: - Experience in a Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab - Knowledge/experience related to moderate/conscious sedation administration and recovery - Knowledge/experience related to anesthesia recovery - Knowledge/experience related to arterial and venous femoral access/sheath management - Knowledge/experience related to safe chemo precautions - Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree from an accredited program - Communication skills including fluency in written and oral English - Ability to stand for up to 4 hours without sitting - Ability to wear protective lead aprons for extended periods - Ability to tolerate moving throughout the entire shift - Experience in a fast-paced procedural environment with competing priorities and quick turnover of patients Description: The position involves working from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. Candidates should have experience in a Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab. A minimum of 2 years of critical care or similar experience is required. Knowledge and experience in moderate/conscious sedation administration and recovery, as well as anesthesia recovery, are essential. Candidates should also have knowledge and experience in arterial and venous femoral access/sheath management and safe chemotherapy precautions. A Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree from a program accredited by recognized accrediting bodies is required. Current and unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License must be held. BLS and ACLS certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association or Military Training Network branch of AHA. Strong communication skills in both written and oral English are necessary. Candidates must be able to stand for up to 4 hours without sitting and wear protective lead aprons for extended periods. The ability to move throughout the entire shift is required. The work environment is fast-paced, with competing priorities and often quick turnover of patients.
