Completion of an accredited surgical technology program (required)
Surgery Technician certification (required) Current CPR or BLS
certification (required) Preferred: High school diploma/GED;
Associates/Technical Degree; Certified Nursing Assistant
certification Prior scrub technician and operating room experience
advantageous Key Responsibilities: Prepare surgical cases by
assembling supplies and creating sterile environments Maintain and
monitor instrumentation and equipment inventories Assist in sponge,
needle, and blade counts to ensure surgical safety Keep operating
rooms clean and organized Support patient transport and perform
clerical duties as needed Adhere to aseptic technique and safety
