working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Portland, Oregon, 97239! Job Title: Emergency Department Registered
Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours
Experience: 2 years of recent emergency department experience
required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS,
ACLS, PALS, TNCC (preferred) Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Trauma
experience - Travel experience Description: Responsible for
assessing patient needs. Plan and coordinate interventions and
consultations. Provide procedures and treatments in the emergency
department, including but not limited to moderate and deep
sedation, ultrasound, intubation, cardioversion, sexual assault
exams, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and imminent deliveries.
Patient population includes trauma, acute stroke, STEMI,
psychosis/psychological emergencies, and sepsis. Patients often
present with alcohol or drug abuse history and complex medical
histories. Patient ratios for days and nights are 1:3-4. Weekend
coverage is required. Candidates must float within the hospital as
needed. First-timers are not accepted; one year of travel
experience is required if recent Epic experience is available.
Candidates must not have any disqualifying background or license
