Job Description:
Legacy Health is committed to providing compassionate care and
advanced medical treatment in Oregon and Washington. Our non-profit
health system is currently seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to
join our oncology team. The successful candidate will operate
radiation therapy equipment, administer targeted doses of
radiation, and support patients’ health during their treatment.
This role requires precision, empathy, and a deep commitment to
patient safety and comfort. Administer radiation therapy as
prescribed by a radiologist. Monitor patients' physical condition
to detect unusual reactions to treatments. Conduct routine
equipment checks to ensure all radiation therapy devices are
functioning accurately. Communicate with healthcare providers to
coordinate treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and
document therapy sessions precisely. Provide emotional support and
information to patients and their families. Ensure all safety
measures are adhered to during treatment to minimize exposure to
radiation. Proficiency in operating complex radiation therapy
equipment. Strong understanding of radiobiology and radiation
physics. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention
to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong
problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to emergent situations.

401k Certified Radiation Therapist (CRT) by the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as a
Radiation Therapist.
