Job Description:
Legacy Health, an integrated community-oriented non-profit
health system, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse
Midwife Certified Specialist OLM. Join our team of skilled
healthcare professionals in providing holistic, evidence-based
midwifery care across our expansive network in Oregon and
Washington. In this role, you will work closely with obstetricians
and gynecologists to offer supreme maternal and fetal healthcare,
focusing particularly on outpatient maternity and gynecological
care. Provide full-scope midwifery care from preconception through
postpartum Execute routine gynecological examinations and prenatal
care Collaborate with healthcare professionals to establish care
plans Educate and empower patients on reproductive health and
pregnancy Manage emergency situations with quick decision-making
skills Monitor maternal and fetal health during pregnancy and
childbirth Guide and support families through the birthing process
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and obstetrical emergency
procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
work under pressure in both team and individual settings Skills in
using health IT systems for patient records and data management
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) licensure is required. Valid
Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon or Washington (or ability to
obtain prior to start). BLS/CPR certification.
