Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system known for
excellent patient care, is seeking a dedicated Transplant
Nephrologist to join our multidisciplinary team. Located across
Oregon and Washington, our facilities provide advanced healthcare
services. This role involves managing kidney transplant patients,
from initial assessments through post-operative and long-term
follow-up care. As a Transplant Nephrologist at Legacy Health, you
will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver compassionate
and comprehensive care to the communities we serve. Evaluate kidney
transplant candidates and manage their preoperative and
postoperative care. Work collaboratively with transplant surgeons,
nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated
and comprehensive care. Participate in the development and
implementation of treatment protocols and patient care policies.
Engage in continuous education and research to remain abreast of
advances in nephrology and transplant medicine. Provide
consultations and expert advice to other physicians and healthcare
providers. Engage in patient and family education regarding kidney
health and transplant procedures. Expert knowledge of nephrology
and internal medicine. Strong skills in patient assessment and
diagnosis. Ability to manage complex patient cases involving kidney
transplantation. Proficiency in using medical software and
electronic health record systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board Certified in
Nephrology. License to practice medicine in the state of Oregon or
Washington.
