Job Description:
Legacy Health, a respected non-profit health system that spans
across Oregon and Washington with six hospitals and numerous
clinics, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Gastroenterologist to
join our pediatric specialty team. In this role, you will diagnose
and treat gastrointestinal diseases in children ranging from
infants to teenagers. This position involves both inpatient and
outpatient responsibilities, integrating clinical excellence with
top-notch patient care. Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal
disorders in pediatric patients. Conduct and interpret diagnostic
tests such as endoscopies and biopsies. Collaborate with
nutritionists and other specialists to develop comprehensive
treatment plans. Provide guidance on lifestyle or dietary changes
beneficial for gastrointestinal health. Participate in research and
clinical trials aimed at advancing treatment of pediatric
gastrointestinal disorders. Educate patients and their families
about condition management and treatment options. Strong knowledge
of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders. Proficiency in endoscopic
procedures and interpretation of results. Excellent communication
skills with the ability to explain complex medical information.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Capability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance

Valid medical license in the state of Oregon or Washington.
