Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Supplemental Surgeon to join our non-profit health system, which encompasses six hospitals and numerous clinics across Oregon and Washington. This role demands a highly skilled individual ready to address varying surgical needs, contributing to both scheduled and emergency procedures. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced surgeons and healthcare professionals to provide top-tier medical care. This position is crucial in maintaining the flexibility and responsiveness of our surgery department, ensuring patient needs are met with the highest standards of safety and efficacy. Perform surgical procedures both scheduled and in emergency situations, adhering to the highest standards of medical practice and patient safety. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and implement comprehensive patient care. Participate in rotational on-call schedules to provide continuous surgical coverage. Maintain current knowledge of surgical procedures and innovations. Contribute to the mentoring and education of surgical residents and other healthcare staff. Proficient in a variety of surgical techniques and disciplines. Strong decision-making abilities and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle high stress environments with urgency and calmness. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant surgical specialty. Valid state medical license. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
