Job Description:
Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiovascular
Echo Sonographer to join our talented team based at our
state-of-the-art facilities across Oregon and Washington. As a
vital part of our pediatric cardiology department, the successful
candidate will be responsible for providing expert
echocardiographic services to our pediatric patients, contributing
directly to our mission of offering compassionate and specialized
care. This position offers the unique opportunity to work alongside
leading pediatric cardiologists and medical professionals in a
supportive, high-tech environment focused on both patient care and
professional development. Perform detailed pediatric
echocardiographic studies and assessments. Collaborate with
pediatric cardiologists to interpret echocardiographic data and
assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare patients and
explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation. Maintain
echocardiography equipment, ensuring all components are in good
working order. Document all procedures and findings in patient
records with high accuracy. Stay current with advances in
echocardiographic techniques and pediatric cardiology. Participate
in departmental administrative duties as required. Expertise in
pediatric echocardiography procedures Proficient in the use of
echocardiographic equipment and diagnostic software Strong
analytical skills for interpreting clinical data Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with
children and their families Detail-oriented with a high level of
accuracy in procedural documentation Medical Insurance Dental

Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential from the American
Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), pediatric
specialty Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
