Job Description:
Legacy Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent
Care Physician to join our dynamic team across Oregon and
Washington. As part of a non-profit health system with a robust
network of hospitals and care facilities, our urgent care services
are integral to providing rapid-response medical care in
non-emergency situations. This role demands acute judgment in
diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of conditions with a
patient-first approach, ensuring high standards of care are
maintained in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate will be
adept at balancing clinical expertise with personal empathy to
provide exceptional healthcare services. Evaluate patient
conditions through examinations, medical history, and diagnostic
tests Provide immediate treatment and make referrals to specialists
when necessary Prescribe and administer medications while
monitoring patient response Record patient care electronically and
maintain detailed, accurate case histories Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to plan for patient care Educate patients
and their families on treatment and care plans, disease prevention,
and healthy lifestyle choices Oversee a team of healthcare
professionals within the urgent care setting and ensure compliance
with healthcare regulations Strong clinical skills with the ability
to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions Excellent
decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work
effectively in high pressure situations Proficient in the use of
medical software and electronic health records Strong communication
and interpersonal skills Leadership and team management Medical

Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal
Medicine Valid state medical license
