Radiology Technologist/n - Location: Portland, OR 97213 (Portland

Date: June 29, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 4x10-hour day
shifts (07:00 - 17:00)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Setting: Short
Term Acute Care Facility (hospital-based radiology)/n - Patient
Population: Adults and Geriatrics/n - Daily Census: ~32 patients/n
- Charting System: Epic (experience preferred)/n - Parking: Free
on-site parking/n /n/nCompensation/n /n - Estimated Weekly Salary
Range: $1520 - $1630 per week (depending on experience and
qualifications)/n /n/nQualifications / Job Requirements/n /n -
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with
DEXA/Bone Density experience required/n - Current OBMI (Oregon
Board of Medical Imaging) license or ability to obtain prior to
start/n - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
certification/n - ARRT Bone Densitometry certification (DEXA)/n -
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA/n - Experience with
Epic charting system preferred (electronic medical record
experience helpful)/n - Reliable vehicle for assignment and ability
to travel locally/float to sister facilities if needed/n - Ability
to provide two supervisory references covering one year within the
last three years/n /n/nKey Responsibilities — DEXA Technologist /
Radiology/n /n - Perform DEXA (Bone Density) scans for adult and
geriatric patients, ensuring high-quality images and accurate
positioning/n - Operate bone densitometry equipment per
manufacturer and departmental protocols/n - Maintain radiation
safety and infection prevention standards at all times/n - Follow
isolation precautions and appropriate use of PPE/n - Document
procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in Epic
(or designated EMR)/n - Provide compassionate, patient-centered
care and clear patient education about the DEXA exam/n -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams (radiology,
nursing, and providers) to support optimal patient outcomes/n -
Complete required orientation and annual competency training prior
