Kaiser Permanente Georgia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Charge RN to lead our dynamic team in providing high-quality emergency medical services. The Charge RN will oversee the operational, personnel, and administrative aspects of the emergency department, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to all healthcare regulations and standards. Coordinate daily operations in the emergency department, including patient flow and staff assignments. Mentor and lead a team of nurses and support staff, promoting professional development and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for patient care and safety. Optimize patient outcomes through effective leadership and resource management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance service delivery and patient care. Manage departmental resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies. Lead crisis intervention efforts and make critical decisions under pressure. Strong leadership and organizational skills Advanced knowledge of emergency care protocols and procedures Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to handle high-stress environments effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred BLS/ACLS certification required
