Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support middle school students in Portland, OR. This contract role begins ASAP and runs through June 15, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The focus is on delivering essential psychological services within an educational setting. Key responsibilities include: - Coordinating and completing all special education evaluations to determine student eligibility. - Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and facilitating development of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) to be implemented and monitored by case managers. - Attending and consulting during PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings. - Providing individualized and small group social-emotional instruction, targeting Tier 3 interventions. - Responding to crisis situations when other resources are unavailable. Ideal candidates will possess the necessary credentials and experience as a School Psychologist, with a strong background in special education evaluation and behavioral support within middle school populations. Comfort working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and the ability to manage a consistent caseload are essential. This position offers highly competitive compensation ranging from $58 to $65 per hour, with weekly pay to ensure timely earnings.
