Neonatal NP/PA - Portland, OregonAssignment Overview

• Coverage Type: In-hospital, Level III NICU
• Shifts: 12- or 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 AM-7:00 AM)
• Patients per Shift:
• Location One: 22 (smaller, higher acuity)
• Location Two: 10 (less intensive)

• Number of Providers Needed: 2
• Call: NoneSchedule & Locations
• Location One: More intensive, higher acuity NICU, delivery room support
• Location Two: Less intensive, still 24-hour shift coverage available
• Providers rotate between both Level III NICU sitesLicensure & Credentialing
• License: OR NP/PA license - Required (willing to obtain accepted)
• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible - RequiredCertifications
• NRP - RequiredPractice & Support
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level: III
• Procedures: Attend deliveries, perform unit-based procedures, manage high-risk neonates
• Team Structure: 13 NNPs in Medical Group; neonatal physicians contracted and provide daily check-ins
• High Delivery Volume:
• Location One: 4,500 deliveries/year
• Location Two: 3,000 deliveries/yearCall Type / Response
• Call Type: Beeper
• Response Time: 30 minutes (unit-based support and supervision available)Recruiter Notes
• Experience with high-volume deliveries and Level III NICU preferred
