Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) Locum Tenens in Hood River, OR
Hook: Join a team providing both inpatient and outpatient OBGYN coverage with a clinic-and-call schedule. This locums opportunity is available starting 09/01/2026, with a flexible coverage model (including 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off options where applicable). What You ll Do

• Provide OBGYN coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Cover clinic hours (scheduled M, Tues, Thurs, Fri; 8am 5pm)
• Participate in call coverage, including:
  • Weeknight beeper call
  • 24-hour weekend beeper call (one weekend expected per coverage period)
  • Additional weekday call shifts (8 call shifts/month, sporadic not necessarily back-to-back)
• Manage on-call clinical needs, with expected case volume around 0 2 deliveries during 24-hour call shifts (may also be no deliveries)
• Handle both OB and GYN privileges, including assistance with in-office procedures and minor GYN/OR surgeries
• Support emergency care as needed (e.g., ectopic case response requiring appropriate privileges)
• Participate in the facility s virtual interview process with the clinical team (availability requested over the next two weeks after submission)

What You Need
Required

• Active Oregon medical license (must be active only)
• DEA required
• BC or BE within 3 5 years
• BLS & NRP required
• Ability to provide OB and GYN privileges with sufficient case logs from the past 24 months to obtain privileges
• Current CV

Preferred

• Availability for a full-time coverage need, or agreement to one of the flexible models:
  • 1 week on/1 week off, or
  • 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

About the Assignment
This locums assignment offers clinic and call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology at a leading facility in Hood River, Oregon. Providers will rotate through scheduled clinic days and a monthly call structure that includes one weekend of 24-hour beeper call and additional weekday night call coverage as assigned.
