  • The DBT- Clinical Lead is responsible for the clinical success of all DBT team members, responsible for oversight of performance and development of clinical program procedures. Clinical lead will be a child mental health specialist.
  • Establish a staffing that complies with the DBT program requirements.
  • Comprehensive care management and coordination.
  • Serve as main contact in situations of 24 hour support.
  • Be the central point of communication for members of the DBT program.
  • Establish and sustain an effective team culture by inviting DBT members to propose, discuss, and accept ground rules for working together.
  • Ensure all DBT members receive appropriate documents.
  • Maintain team focus on scope of work for the DBT team and progress/movement toward transition.
  • Referral to community and social support services.
  • The oversight of those therapeutic and case-management services, which may be provided by counselors, counselor-techs, and Peer Counselors for those clients assigned to the DBT program.
  • Provide individual and group supervision.
  • Ensure DBT consultation team meets weekly.
  • Ensure clinical outcome measures.
  • Effective use of technology and software including but not limited to: computers, phones, email, EMR, etc.
  • Ability to work with difficult cases and vulnerable populations.
  • Provide a Monthly DBT Program Report to the Officers that includes the total number of individuals by LOCUS level and for each participant during the previous month: o The number of times homeless o The number of days homeless o The number of times incarcerated o The number of days incarcerated o The number of Emergency Room visits o The number of times of psychiatric hospitalization o The number of days of psychiatric hospitalization o The number of days competitively employed
    • The DBT- Clinical Lead shall submit a Quarterly Outcome Report on individuals served by The DBT team in a format approved by Great Rivers.
    • Maintain a waiting list of individuals referred for DBT who meet the admission criteria, but cannot be enrolled because of capacity issues. The list shall include the referral date. What We Require:
      • The DBT- Clinical Lead must possess, at least, a master's degree in behavioral sciences, from an accredited program. Must be a child mental-health specialist. Must have a demonstrated history of tenacity and ability to adapt to organizational changes and demands.
      • The DBT- Clinical Lead must possess strong leadership skills in addition to a substantial knowledge base and skills relating to clinical issues of mental health treatment. Salary: starts at $21.81 and goes up based on qualifications and experience. If offered a position you will also receive a $1000 signing bonus and have the potential to have relocation costs up to $1500 covered if outside a 65 mile radius. This position is a part of a union (OPEIU Local 11) We are proud to be able to not only offer competitive compensations but also a benefit package that our employees love.
