Alliance is searching for a full-time Team Leader -to join our
Contact Center operation. The Contact Center is primarily 2-1-1
Maine and also manages incoming calls for The Opportunity Alliance.
- The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day
operational standards of 2-1-1 Maine for the purposes of
efficiency, quality assurance and quality customer service. This
position will supervise designated call specialists. 2-1-1 is a
free, confidential information and referral service that connects
people of all ages across Maine to local services. 2-1-1 Maine is
based in South Portland and available 24 hours a day, seven days a
week. Our call specialists are trained and friendly; they know we
al need help sometimes. - This is a full time, 40 hours/week,
hourly position, located in South Portland, ME Some remote work may
be available. - Qualifications :
- High School diploma with 1-3 years' experience required.
Associate's degree in a human services related discipline, plus 2
years' experience working in a human services position
preferred.
- Previous experience in a call center required.
- Previous supervisory and customer service experience
required.
- Ability to obtain certification as an Information and Referral
Specialist (CIRS) within 3 years.
- Ability to coordinate contact center staff time for maximum
productivity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to take initiative. -
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to successfully pass
a criminal background, child protective service check & sex
offender check.
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment
list.
- Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional
standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling,
crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings but
is not a primary and essential job responsibility. Why Work for
