Job Description:
Legacy Health seeks a dedicated Cook to join our food services
team, providing nutritious and well-prepared meals to support the
health and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors. Our ideal
candidate possesses a passion for cooking and an understanding of
dietary needs in a healthcare setting. You will be integral in
maintaining our high standards of food safety and quality,
contributing to a positive dining experience within our health
system. Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements
and menus. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in
the kitchen. Regularly check ingredients for freshness and stock
inventory appropriately. Collaborate with healthcare professionals
to ensure meals meet the dietary restrictions and preferences of
patients. Record kitchen temperatures and food storage information
as required by health and safety regulations. Proficiency in
various cooking techniques and types of cuisine. Knowledge of
dietary needs and restrictions within a healthcare context. Ability
to follow recipes and modify them based on dietary needs. Excellent
communication and time management skills. Medical Insurance Dental

or ServSafe certification required Any additional culinary training
or nutrition education is beneficial.
