Wilson Elser's White Plains office currently seeks a Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator. This role is a hybrid role requiring some days in the office and others working remote.

The HR Recruitment Coordinator will play an important role in facilitating, organizing, and assisting in the implementation and management of the firm's attorney and professional staff recruitment efforts. The HR Recruitment Coordinator will also gain exposure to other functional HR areas and provide support as needed.

The Position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior office, professional, or internship experience
  • Experience in a recruitment, HR, or legal setting is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while dealing with interruptions and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Able to quickly learn proprietary software systems and databases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who can work well independently and within a team Responsibilities
    • Responsible for posting job openings on various job boards
    • Coordinate scheduling of interviews with candidates and hiring managers
    • Perform reference checks
    • Regularly update and maintain various Excel spreadsheets
    • Create and track vendor invoices to be sent to AP
    • Pre-screen candidates for open positions
    • Full life cycle recruiting for select positions in NY Metro area & regional offices of the firm
