As the Sr. HR Business Partner, you will serve as a key strategic partner to management in ensuring HR practices are supporting organizational strategy.Additionally, you will provide employee consultative services on HR related matters. In this role you will partner with appropriate centers of excellence, utilizing your depth of knowledge, to support all phases of the employee Life Cycle such as hiring, performance, risk, staff development, change management, and high-level career development. You should be a proactive communicator and change agent, who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with business unit leaders and gain an in-depth understanding of the business units to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly enable business objectives
  • Utilize knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to people managers
  • Collaborate and consult on the design and delivery of HR programs
  • Coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with all levels of the organization and positively influence teams
  • Provide interpretation and guidance for the application of HR policies and procedures
  • Drive key programs and processes (e.g., performance management cycles, calibration facilitation, compensation planning, people leader coaching, employee relations/conflict resolution, organizational design, etc.)
  • Lead assigned HR projects to continuously uplevel technology and process to meet organizational talent objectives
  • Provide change management leadership, coaching and training as needed
  • Leverage best practices and identify opportunities for increasing efficiency
  • Support onboarding programs and initiatives for individual contributors and people leaders
  • Develop and lead training for people leaders and individual contributors for ongoing development
  • Provide support and guidance to assigned company Employee Resource Groups
  • Acts as a mentor to other members of the HR team
  • Complete other tasks and projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or any other related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
    • Minimum 8+ years in Human Resource and 4+ years as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role, including experience supporting executives and senior leaders preferred
    • Robust employee relations experience, including internal investigations and navigating challenging employee situations
    • Previous experience in at least two of the following areas: professional development, training, recruiting, policy development, benefits, and compensation
    • Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations and particularly well versed in leaves of absences
    • Strong business acumen, with an ability to think strategically, and problem solve effectively
    • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all employees at all levels, as well as external vendors and stakeholders
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, visual acuity for proofreading and document preparation; ability to tailor messages based on audience
    • Proficient in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; functional at learning additional technology platforms such as HRIS, ATS, and SharePoint
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, drive, orientation to goal accomplishment, attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong project management skills with commitment and drive for continuous improvement
    • Proven ability to track, prioritize and report status of multiple projects, re-prioritizing as necessary to meet changing deadlines
    • Proven ability to work with changing requirements/priorities using internal/external resources and maintain composure while managing multiple competing priorities JOB CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT -
      • Primarily Onsite work environment in Portland, OR offering a blend of virtual/work from home and onsite days designed to support flexibility and maintain collaboration. Tuesdays and Wednesdays mandatory in office, with an additional 1-3 days in office
      • Normal office environment/desk assignment
      • Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
      • Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, and other written documents
