Job Description:

**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU** Under the supervision of the healthcare team, the RN uses clinical judgment to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems. They are responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients while coordinating with other healthcare disciplines. **Key Responsibilities:**

• **Assessment:** Conducts accurate multi-system assessments and identifies deviations from normal lab tests. Performs complete discharge assessments.
• **Planning:** Develops individual nursing care plans, coordinates patient care activities, and delegates tasks appropriately.
• **Implementation:** Initiates appropriate measures for patient care, administers medications, and handles emergency situations.
• **Evaluation:** Evaluates assessment methods and patient responses to treatment. **Basic Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** Minimum of nine months RN experience with three years of recent ICU critical care experience.
  • **Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • **License/Certification:** RN License, NIH Stroke Scale Certificate, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. **Additional Requirements:**
    • Computer keyboarding skills and sedation competency. **Preferred Qualifications:**
      • Previous healthcare experience and a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
      • Five years of recent ICU nursing experience, CCRN certification, and PALS certification preferred.
