Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit healthcare organization, is
seeking a knowledgeable Labor Relations Consultant to join our
dedicated Human Resources & Talent Management team. The candidate
will be pivotal in managing labor relations, formulating
strategies, and supporting the implementation of labor policies
that align with organizational goals across our extensive network
in Oregon and Washington. This role requires a deep understanding
of labor laws, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to
fostering a constructive labor environment that supports both
employee welfare and organizational objectives. Provide expert
analysis and solutions on complex labor relations issues. Develop
and implement labor policies and procedures. Negotiate collective
bargaining agreements with union representatives. Advise management
and HR teams on labor laws and standards. Handle grievances,
arbitrations, and mediate workplace disputes. Support the training
of supervisors on labor relations issues. Prepare detailed reports
on labor activities. Stay updated with changes in labor
legislation. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Deep
understanding of labor laws and employment standards Excellent
verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze complex
information and provide grounded recommendations Proficient in
handling HRIS and labor management systems Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Labor
Relations Professional (CLRP) or similar certification is
preferred
