The Talent & Organizational Development Team at DWFritz focuses on solutions for the people side of the business. We are a progressive HR team that is data driven, results oriented, and consultative in our approach. You won---t find any paper pushers on this team! What you will find is a team that works closely with the business to understand the needs, to develop solutions, to measure their impact and to continually look for ways to improve. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the HR Team in all areas of HR operations.----This will include HRIS administration, employee records, benefits administration and participation in our continual efforts to be ---Find a Better Way------one of DWFritz--- values that encourages innovation and continual process improvement.----The HR Coordinator must have excellent organizational and follow up skills with the ability to handle a multitude of assignments simultaneously in a fast pace environment.

  • Responds to HR and benefits inquiries and escalates to senior HR staff when necessary.
  • Assists in the implementation and provides administrative support to various types of HR programs.--
  • Intakes formal employee complaints prior to investigations.
  • Inputs and maintains data in our HRIS system and provides reports to HR team, management and other departments as requested.
  • Supports HR Manager in providing benefits, enrollments, terminations, COBRA administration, resolves billing and membership issues, and processes employee leaves of absence.
  • Conducts the HR and benefits portion of new hire orientation.
  • Prepares separation materials and schedules exit interviews.
  • Processes internal confidential forms and records.
  • Maintains personnel and contract partner files.
  • Maintains, and, as appropriate, distributes current employee information, policy and procedures manuals, and other communications.
  • In accordance with procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies.
  • Identifies potential issues and communicates these to senior HR staff.
  • Maintains HR portion of the company---s intranet site.


    • Critical thinking and the confidence to ask questions and propose other options is critical to one---s success in this position.
    • Experience with HRIS or other applicable database systems strongly preferred.
    • High degree of adaptability and resourcefulness.--
    • Able to work independently and takes initiative to identify opportunities to help the team and to identify process improvements.--
    • Possesses the organizational skills and sense of urgency to manage a high volume of work amidst priority changes and disruptions.----
    • Perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy.--
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.--
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality for sensitive Human Resources issues and projects.--
    • Intermediate to advanced level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.--

      Your Education and Experience

      • Bachelor---s degree in Business or HR required.
      • 2+ years of experience in an HR role required.
