together.What You Will DoThis role has 3 parts: Solution Design,
Customer Relations and Project Management.The Standard is looking
for an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer with expertise
in solution design, technical project management, and
enterprise-wide collaboration to coordinate and deliver
company-wide infrastructure initiatives. Join an IT engineering
team that is actively modernizing its physical infrastructure,
virtualization environments, compute, connectivity, and cloud
platforms. You will have the opportunity to influence the technical
direction, the execution, and the delivery of infrastructure across
multiple technologies.As a Senior Infrastructure Consulting Systems
Engineer, you will assess, define, facilitate, and deliver multiple
infrastructure initiatives which support our core business
applications, business teams and customers. You will contribute to
the high-level solution architecture and design. You will organize,
plan, track, and coordinate work from partner teams. You will
assess opportunities, mitigate risk, and consult, collaborate and
communicate with partner teams, stakeholders, and internal
customers. You will present implementation approaches, strategies,
and project direction to various levels of the organization, from
co-worker teammates to senior leaders.This role is a leader, an
influencer, and a respected consultative partner across our IT
organization.The Skills and Background You Will NeedTen years of
experience leading large enterprises as an infrastructure engineer
or equivalent, working in multiple infrastructure areas.Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or
equivalent experience.Knowledge of and ability to apply experience
and technical judgement across several enterprise infrastructure
technologies including cloud, networking, telephony, servers,
virtualization, storage, database, Office365, and infrastructure
automation.Ability to analyze systems, design feasible solutions,
detect dependencies, mitigate risk, and elicit requirements for new
and enhanced systems.Ability to plan, in detail with diligent
deliverable follow up and accountability.Strong written and spoken
communication skills delivering clarity to co-workers, partners,
and senior leaders.Proven ability to build relationships across
partnering teams.Self-directed. Able to develop objectives and best
approaches on critical assignments.Traits of a Successful
CandidateTechnically curious and a life-long learner.Insatiable
appetite for technology and technology improvements to better
support and leverage enterprise business teams.Skilled in
cross-team negotiations. Able to understand partner, customer, and
stakeholder perspectives, and decide when to build consensus and
when to direct the results.Respected as knowledgeable consultant to
management and as an external spokesperson for organizational
initiatives.Highly organized, detail oriented, and a great
communicator who approaches challenges as another chance to
