As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be a part of the professional Team developing Software for both Desktop and Embedded. If interested apply today! In your new role you will:

  • Design and implementation of automated tooling to support Agile software development projects.
  • Create, build and configure tooling for continuous build, integration, deployment and release.
  • Support development projects according to Scrum and Agile processes.
  • Define, set up and maintain configuration, Change & Requirement Management infrastructure (such as JIRA, Confluence and Gitlab).
  • Proficiency in JIRA software practices including JIRA workflow, reporting, JIRA service management and JIRA DevOps automation.
  • Become a Leader for the Team. You will gain experience in Embedded Design software delivery. A previous software development background is desirable, as there will be a need to understand and react to technical problems at different levels (tasks definition, design, validation, even code review).
  • Coordination between the Asset Groups to deliver Complete Solutions.
  • Facilitate adoption of the Software Processes as well as its integration across Infineon organizations.

    You are best equipped for this task if you have:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS.
    • 10+ years experience in software development, including data structures, algorithms/heuristics.
    • 3-5 years of relevant/direct experience with configuration management and scripting Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Bash programming.
