As an Innovation Software Test Engineer team member, you will be an active contributor into the next phase innovative solutions. This role plays an important function to develop customer solutions for operator and pedestrian awareness. Join our team as we take our trucks to the next level.Join our team as we take materials handling design to the next level.Responsibilities:* Collaborate with Innovation team members on software validation activities to ensure the right solution for our customers* Document and maintain software requirements - including the design verification activities* Analyze data and generate test reports* Participate in System/Component FMEA activities.* Contribute to competitive product benchmarking projects - summarizing competitor proximity detection attributes.Minimum Qualifications:* Formal education with a minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering* General knowledge of Electrical circuits* Basic skills in controls theory* General knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN)* General knowledge of network technologies and standards* Experience with a scripting computer language for test automation* Experience with embedded system development* Some experience working in a c development environmentAdditional Qualifications:* Decision Making: Exhibit professional judgment and a practical understanding of issues; demonstrate ability to set priorities and take decisive actions to derive a solution.* Innovative: Creative thinking, troubleshooting complex systems, and develop unique solutions.* Systematic Problem Solving: Demonstrate ability to apply structured principles and methods to resolve difficult or constrained challenges.* Teamwork and Flexibility: Function well in a global team environment.
