Senior UI DeveloperRemote Within WA, OR, UT or IDPrimary Job Purpose As a Senior UI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, software engineers, and product managers, to create intuitive, visually appealing, and human-centric interfaces that improve the overall engagement of both healthcare professionals and members using our applications. General Functions and Outcomes

• Develop accessible and scalable web applications using modern web technologies such as Next.js, React, TailwindCSS, Redux Toolkit and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate design concepts into functional user interfaces for healthcare web and mobile applications.
• Develop responsive and captivating UI components that align with best practices, accessibility standards, and industry guidelines.
• Create reusable UI components and design patterns to ensure consistency and efficiency across multiple applications.
• Optimize application performance by implementing efficient rendering techniques and resource utilization strategies.
  • Stay current with evolving UI/UX trends, technologies, and healthcare software best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UI-related issues, collaborating effectively to find pragmatic solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior UI developers, nurturing their growth and skill enhancement.
  • Contribute to approved Development Lifecycles and related deliverables.
    • Prepare work estimates for development or changes, taking the initiative to seek out tasks.
    • Document programs, systems, operations, and user guidelines comprehensively.
    • Adheres to policies, procedures, and standards in place within IT/Engineering as well as all corporate policies, procedures and standards created by Cambia. Those include, but are not limited to, technical and architecture standards, production implementation standards, regular status reporting, regular participation in team, regular one on one meetings with Lead or Manager, and providing work estimates and regular time tracking.
    • Deliver various components, including requirement analysis, system design, code development, testing, and documentation.
    • May be responsible for on-call duties as defined by management.
      • Develop highly complex programs and systems to support business processes and goals.
      • Expected to contribute to process improvement.
      • Direct system design efforts and estimate work for multiple projects.
      • Oversee the creation of program, system, operational, and user documentation. Minimum Requirements
        • Prior experience or understanding of React, Next.js, Tailwind, and Redux Toolkit.
        • Prior experience or understanding of Amazon Web Services, Kubernetes and Docker.
        • Prior experience or understanding of Git version control, Puppeteer or Cypress automated UI testing, and Agile methodology.
        • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in a timely manner in both verbal and written communication with other Software Development Engineers.
          • Ability to take direction from others in analyzing and solving program and system issues and problems.
          • Demonstrated ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve simple programming problems and system coordination issues.
          • Demonstrated familiarity with core technologies and methodologies used by the team such as.
          • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs of limited scope.

            • Ability to work with minimum direction and ability to plan and manage his/her own work. Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed aboveThe Software Development Engineer IV would have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field and at least 8 years relevant experience in a multi-platform environment, including, but not limited to application development or database development. Experience will typically include significant involvement with one or more of the following key technologies: Java, J2EE, .NET, Oracle, DataStage, Salesforce.com or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Work Environment
              • Work primarily performed in office environment.
              • Travel may be required, locally or out of state.
              • May be required to work outside normal hours and/or provide on call service.
