Title: Technical Service Representative
Location: Woodland, WA (a 35-minute drive from Portland, OR);
relocation assistance may be provided
Shift: M-F, 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M (may vary as duties require)
Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000

Position Description:
The company is seeking a Technical Service Representative to play a
crucial role in providing technical support for the company's
designed aircraft interior products. The position involves
assisting with drawing and manual comprehension, maintaining,
servicing, and operating the equipment, as well as conducting
installations and troubleshooting when necessary. The Technical
Service Representative ensures that customers receive exceptional
support and training to ensure the successful use and maintenance
of company equipment.
Responsibilities for the Technical Service Representative include
offering onsite technical support and installation assistance for
various airframes, following company and FAA approved practices.
They provide comprehensive training to customers on equipment
installation, removal, operational use, and maintenance. In
addition, they actively engage in sales by proactively soliciting
the sale of parts or services, creating quotes, and managing sales
orders. The Technical Service Representative collects valuable
customer feedback, promptly addresses complaints, coordinates
product return repairs, and maintains direct communication with
customers. They are responsible for managing technical
documentation, conducting system reviews, determining replacement
parts, and building product guides. Traveling domestically and
internationally is required to fulfill the responsibilities of this
position.
Specific tasks include measuring, filing, drilling, tapping,
positioning, aligning, following instructions, securely fastening
parts, disassembling and replacing parts, cleaning and lubricating,
marking parts for traceability, testing assembly performance, and
performing soldering and crimping duties as necessary.
The company recognizes the value of military veterans with aviation
maintenance backgrounds and they are highly desired for this
role.
Requirements:
--- High school diploma or GED.
--- Three years of related aviation experience/training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
--- FAA Airframe or FAA Airframe/Power plant license or prior
military aviation experience.
--- Ability to read and follow complex drawings and diagrams.
--- Basic knowledge of the use and maintenance of common shop
tools.
--- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to
detail.
--- Outstanding teamwork skills and a high degree of
initiative.
--- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
--- Ability to work independently with a high level of
self-motivation and initiative.
