Operations team in our downtown Portland headquarters, the Systems Administrator is
responsible for supporting a variety of business unit systems and services to
ensure operational efficiency and reliable results. This individual will develop knowledge of
various business applications and handle the configuration and settings for the
applications in collaboration with vendors, business units and others in IT to satisfy
business requirements and maximize the functionality of the application. Duties include troubleshooting application
issues, orchestrate effective testing of new or changed applications, build
efficiency by leveraging excellent configuration, field relationships, and
application features and capabilities, provide user training and documentation,
and manage application projects to completion. This is aligned with our

As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or
Business, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of two years' work
experience as an applications or systems engineer with related job duties, or
in closely related positions.
with solving issues with applications and system upgrades in support of one or
more business units, including previous experience serving in the role of
system administrator on at least one application.
- Basic proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, Visio
and/or process mapping is helpful.
- Excellent analytical and issue resolution skills, ability
to plan, organize and prioritize tasks, and ability to perform research.
- Working knowledge of business process
modeling tools such as Lean Six Sigma methodology and concepts and ability to
utilize the tools to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve quality.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a
fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing demands while using
discretion in decision making, sound judgment in problem solving, and utilizing
processes to ensure accuracy.
- Strong math and logic skills to apply in configuring and
testing application results.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to relate technical information to others
utilizing non-technical terms.
