LHH is currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our client in Lake Oswego.
This is a unique role that blends the duties of a legal assistant and paralegal. Candidates with experience in both roles are encouraged to apply! The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience as a legal assistant, ideally in Real Estate and Transactions. They will have high attention to detail and enjoy the challenge of managing project deadlines. Responsibilities:

• Managing client calls and emails regarding legal services
• Opening and closing client files, along with managing data entry during the life of the case
• Manage calendars, monitor and ensure deadlines are met
• Conduct legal research in regard to civil procedure rules and local court rules
• Prepare legal documents, exhibits, litigation binders and draft legal documents
• Filing and other administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned
  Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience as a legal assistant in a law-firm setting, ideally in Real Estate Litigation and Transactions - Experience with general litigation is also preferred
  • Experience with electronic filing systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with competing deadlines
  • High degree of professionalism in all forms of communication
  • Experience with managing electronic communication and document management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
