WFVC serves over 27 million customers through our digital channels and supports over 5.8 billion customer interactions annually through digital and contact centers.The Threat Management Capabilities team for the Customer Authentication and Identity Management (CAI) organization is seeking a Business Support Consultant 4 to fulfill, and ensure adherence to, risk and compliance requirements for CAI capabilities. The person in this role will provide subject matter expertise and line of business coordination for risk management requirements (e.g. model validation and governance requirements, SHRP issues, etc.) and other compliance activities for CAI capabilities and programs.As a Business Support Consultant 4, you will engage applicable resources and lead efforts to fulfill risk management requirements, including ensuring operational and other documented processes and procedures are in alignment with the various program initiatives, policies, and guidance for the CAI organization. In addition, you will support and coordinate business processes and efforts to document, as required, for successful completion of model validations, SHRP issues, and any additional compliance, controls or business process reviews. You will perform these functions in a fast-paced and evolving environment where quick and accurate decisions are critical --for effectiveness.Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the tracking and monitoring actions for remediation efforts associated with risk management findings and any compliance reviews.
  • Act as a liaison to internal and external partners as it relates to fulfillment of risk management and compliance requirements on behalf of CAI teams and functions, which includes, but is not limited to, model validation, model performance monitoring and reporting, model certifications, and SHRP issues.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to fulfill CAI risk management requirements.
  • Lead documentation, coordinating across resource teams for information needed, and creation of action plans and processes to fulfill CAI risk management requirements.Location: Preferred locations are listed, however may consider additional locations within the designated Wells Fargo footprint.Please Note: Depending on the volume of applications received, this job posting may be removed prior to the indicated close date.     Required Qualifications
    • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

      Other Desired Qualifications
      • 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management, or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
      • Experience with business risk management
      • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations
      • Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
      • Experience developing well-defined plans for problem resolution from preliminary or ambiguous information
      • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
      • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes
      • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
      • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
      • Knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Internal Loss Data (ILD), and Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)
      • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
      • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
      • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
      • Experience with quantitative and qualitative models
      • Experience with policy initiation, review, and implementation
      • Model Risk Governance and Risk Management
      • Experience with data science and data analytics
      • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
