-Safety First. Employee has been trained and is to follow all
general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies, as well as
specific safety requirements within the chemical team. Employee
will be trained on general safety requirements at time of hire, and
specific requirements within this team during the first 90 days of
his / her employment.
-Employee is responsible to process customer supplied parts within
the chemical process (etching) & detailing department according to
known processes as specified by work order traveler instructions.
Prepare the part(s) as the final preparation before clean room
packaging. Be able to handle each part and lift up to sixty (40)
pounds without damaging. Ability to make judgment calls and
recognize incorrect processes to avoid damage to part(s).
-Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the team
to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts
within this team. Read and understand the directions for each
-Work with other team members to assist with chemical process &
detailing process or problems. Knowledge of where incorrectly
processed parts should go along with a prepared Defect Material
Report. Follow up on returned parts for final corrected processing
and closing of travelers. Possess various mechanical skills and
have a feel for scrubbing and power washing. Work with buffing
equipment, air drying, chemical soaking & wiping, stain removing,
and bath preparations. Utilize chemicals, ultra sound, and hot tank
preparations. Operate a hoist as needed for lifting and moving
-Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
-Willing and able to work non-production hours as necessary.
-Standing for long periods of time
-Ability to read and comprehend internal documents such as work
order travelers, inventory records, logs and general company
-Basic computer skills.
-Must complete 24hour Health and Safety Training for Treatment
Storage and Disposal Facility Worker.
-Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language in
internal documents such as work order travelers, inventory records,
logs and general company records.
-Basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills in order to
process inventory, counting, time allocation, and work hours.
-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
