  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University
  • Competitive, outgoing, and positive personality
  • Willingness to perform business development, cold calling, lead generation by online or other innovative methods
  • Ability to learn and apply sales best practicesCareer Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Deliver superior prospect/client service through professional verbal and written communication
    • Effectively listen, communicate TerraSmart value proposition, and utilize exceptional phone skills
    • Generate new and repeat sales
    • Determine client requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
    • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
    • Manage time effectively, meet personal and company goals and work effectively with other members of the entire company team.
    • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
    • Hunter mentality to find new leads / prospects on a daily basis
    • Educate clients about terminology, value, solutions, and benefits of products in order to improve product- related sales and client satisfaction
    • Contact client following sales to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and resolve any complaints
    • Remain current on consumer preferences, by attending sales meetings, vendor training and trade shows, networking events or reading trade journals
    • Communicate to manager unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products
    • Maintain proficiency in using personal computer including Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.com CRM
