• Tuition reimbursementSummary: As a Calibration Quality Test Technician, you will work to ensure the accuracy and quality of assembled electrical products. Quality Technicians are highly essential team members who work to utilize their technical skills to bring top quality products and services to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interprets technical information from manuals to support equipment setup and calibration.
  • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and clear understanding of pneumatic schematics, piping and instrument diagrams, mechanical drawings and BOM's.
  • Strong Electrical aptitude and clear understanding of electrical schematics and symbols.
  • Possesses the ability and experience to exercise discretion and independent judgment but is quick to escalate situations that fall outside responsibility and expertise.
  • Completion of test report documents.
  • Facilitization of equipment, Testing, troubleshooting/debug, and repair of system problems.
  • Collaborates with manufacturing and Quality groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control are achieved with every product. Required Skills & Abilities:
    • Ability to interact with a diverse group of management, engineers, and technical staff whether internal or external customers
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
    • Mechanical aptitude and clear understanding of pneumatic schematics, piping and instrument diagrams, mechanical drawings and BOM's
    • Strong Electrical aptitude and clear understanding of electrical schematics and symbols
    • Ability to participate in a team-oriented environment where you may assist adjacent departments and sections
    • Excel in time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
    • Ability and experience to exercise discretion and independent judgment but is quick to escalate situations that fall outside responsibility and expertise Education/Experience:
      • Experience assembling and/or fabricating electrical assemblies
      • Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
      • Working knowledge and the ability to test and troubleshoot AC/DC power circuits
      • Electrical troubleshooting experience
      • Experience working with HMI's and PLC's
      • Familiar with AX and Bluestar systems are preferred
      • 2+ years Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting preferred
      • 2+ years Field Service-related work preferred
      • Associates degree or equivalent technical qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or physical sciences preferred Physical Requirements:
