group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value
for the assigned customers through the technical service they
provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to
existing customers.A Key Account Representative's primary focus is
to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A
Key Account Representative's may work on attaining new business
where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job
responsibility.Maintain and build assigned business
relationshipsReview treatment programs and processes within the
territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine
testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and
business retention.Conduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom
training programs to understand the overall operations of the
territory plants and new customer sitesSell new business and new
applications in your territory - develop and implement sales plans
on new opportunities. Manage profitability of the account (pump
settings, pricing, accounts receivable)Review territory
applications and processes/procedures for safety
improvementsIndoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee
could be faced with working in temperature extremes. Employee must
be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, manual dexterity and
mechanical aptitude helpful. Use of safety equipment to include but
not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work
boots, gloves, and H2S Monitor as required or needed.- Bachelor's
Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider
experience in lieu of a technical degree- 1-2 years industry
experience (pulp & paper, water treatment or specialty chemicals
preferred)- Ability to solve complex and non-routine technical
problems- Ability to manage complex projects- Strong relationship
management skills- Experience learning new concepts and/or
technology and applying them- Ability to work with autonomy and
direct/coach indirect reports- Experience working with multi levels
in an organization to achieve results- Strong verbal and written
