Maxwell, an integrated marketing agency serving national consumer brands, is looking for a dynamic leader to fill the new role of Senior Account Supervisor. This position is responsible for helping to develop results-oriented strategic plans and managing implementation of national media relations and consumer engagement programs for travel/tourism and consumer brandsGrow Your Career

  • Provides counsel and strategic direction for multiple clients.
  • Helps drive development of annual plans for clients.
  • Helps to develop and recommend creative programs that reflect a good understanding of clients' businesses, competition and industries.
  • Ensures client objectives are top-of-mind within the team, deadlines are met and projects are executed within budget.
  • Reinforces clients' key messages in deliverables.
  • Approves activity recaps and invoices.
  • Ensures client team demonstrates respect for client needs.
  • Establishes strong consultative relationships with clients.
  • Seeks and responds thoughtfully to client feedback.
  • Manages workload, monitors capacity and organizes the team to achieve stellar results for clients.
  • Creates an environment in which the group is motivated to deliver innovative concepts and execution
  • Supervises work of account staff to ensure quality and results.
  • Maintains a professional work environment that encourages direct and productive conflict management, is intolerant of gossip and is encouraging of others.
  • Jumps in and helps at all level of tasks.
  • Keeps senior management informed of progress, potential problems and unanticipated changes in client goals or plans.
  • Manages client deliverables according to scopes of work, taking responsibility for exceeding expectations and looking for new opportunities that help our clients achieve their objectives.
  • Helps team honor commitments and keep agreements.
  • Leads client profitability.
  • Tracks and manages client budgets.
  • Collaborates with leadership team members in identifying and resolving potential budget concerns as well as bringing fresh ideas to clients - even those outside the scope of work.
  • Spots and forwards trend information to clients, providing context for how it relates to our work.
  • Provides constructive feedback and fosters an environment in which feedback is welcome.
  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence in terms of client and team needs.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisors and managers.
  • Understands team strengths and weaknesses and organizes work so everyone plays to their strengths
  • Regularly contributes content to the agency's blog and newsletter.

    • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, digital media, or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of agency experience preferred.
    • National consumer media relations experience
