Summary
Responsible for preparing correct and time-sensitive customer
documents to clear cargo shipments associated with international
trade. Documenting export transactions and following correct
regulations ensuring compliance with US and foreign government laws
and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group
Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork)
and promote teamwork at all times.
Processing export contracts
Preparing documents to letter of credit requirements
Raising invoices
Make sure all documents contain correct info
Prepare book-ins
Arrange trucking
Get info for shipment to cold storages/plants
Make sure inventory dept/accounting dept has copy of commercial
invoice & back-up work
Obtains data by reviewing export orders and inventories
Documents exports by preparing bills of lading, export
declarations, certificates of origin and related documents
Assistance with phone calls from customers with confirmation of
bills
Inventory control
Maintain a clean and orderly material distribution area
Ensure all material transactions, receiving, issues and
distributing are completed within established limits
Follow documentation process for specific accounts
Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the
qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years related experience or training, or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Previous experience with preparing detailed documents
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent typing accuracy and speed skills
Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent time-management skills
