• Install, configure, and upgrade Teradata software and related products
• Backup, restore, and migrate Teradata data and objects
• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures
• Manage and monitor system performance.
• Monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
• Implement and maintain database security
• Set up and maintain documentation and standards.
• Support multiple Teradata Systems including independent marts and enterprise warehouse
• Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources are allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance
• Improve and maintain the databases to include rollout and upgrades
• Implement and release database changes as submitted by the development team FLX123Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Teradata Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Data Warehousing
  • High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:
    • Ability to work as a part of a team work independently with minimal guidance
    • US Healthcare domain knowledge
    • Good understanding of Teradata Architecture and Administration
    • Experience with Teradata Administration and Relevant utilities
    • Experience with Teradata utilities like Mutiload, BTEQ, and TPT
    • Proficient in writing SQL
    • Hands-on experience in performance tuning
