NW Staffing Resources is hiring for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our corporate office in Downtown Portland, OR to partner with our branch recruiting teams in supporting recruitment strategies and offering back-up and administrative support. MAIN OFFICE : Corporate office in Downtown Portland, OR (near Pioneer Courthouse Square). Regular travel will be required to all branch locations across the Portland Metro area, including Vancouver, WA, with occasional travel to the Sacramento, CA branch office. SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid schedule offered as branch needs allow working three days per week in office (Corporate or a branch) and two days remote. SALARY & BENEFITS : $45,000 to $50,000/year DOE base salary. Great quarterly bonus opportunity. Excellent medical, prescription, vision, and dental plans with employer contributions. THE ROLE The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for assisting all branch offices with workforce development by identifying qualified candidates for temporary and temp-to-hire placement opportunities. A successful Talent Acquisition Coordinator must have exceptional customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, high level of organization and time management skills, and a drive to quickly follow through on projects and requests. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for job placement opportunities. Collaborating with recruiting teams to create effective hiring strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pool to meet customer needs. Coordinating branch interviews, processing pre-employment paperwork and screenings, and offering administrative assistance to the branches, as needed. Providing excellent customer support to all Recruiters, clients, and associates. Coverage for staff absences, including back-up for Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators. Conducting internal training for new Recruiters and refresher trainings, as required. SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES 1-2 years of recruiting experience preferred. 3+ years of strong customer service experience. Experience in HR and/or administrative roles, or applicable education coursework. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems. Excellent and professional communication skills - verbal and written. Strong critical thinking skills to work through challenges and meet tight deadlines. Bachelor's degree in a related field will be considered but is not required.
