Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Manage research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Will maintain and troubleshoot the software and systems that operate in the network environment, and ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
• PowerShell scripting for automation of common functions.
• VMWare in-depth administration
• Server 2012 implementation and maintenance
• Active Directory, and GPO architecture and management.
• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems.
• Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments.
• Perform routine audits of systems and software.
• Maintain working knowledge of current backup solution.
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Install and configure new hardware and software.
• Answer technical queries and address team member questions and concerns; assist team members on trouble-shooting and various system issues.
• Instruct team members on proper computer and software usage and policies.
• Responsible for systems security.
• Responsible for documenting the configuration of the system.
• Troubleshoot any reported problems.
• Perform system performance tuning.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
  What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
  
  Required
  
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, industry certification, and experience.
  • Requires a strong working knowledge of VMWare and Microsoft-based enterprise environments including Windows Server Operating systems, PowerShell scripting, SCCM, Active Directory, DNS, and GPO's.
  • Valid driver's license.
    Preferred
    
    • Prior experience providing advanced technical support as well as guidance for further technical evaluation, implementation and advanced training
    • Microsoft Exchange 2013/ 2016 familiarity
