Reports to: Lead or Head Custodian
Please note that this position is 203 days (10 months) with 6 paid
holidays, paid sick leave and paid flexible personal leave (3 days
per year). The McMinnville School District provides generous

Job Summary: To maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for
students, teachers and visitors. To assist teachers and students in
the physical care and upkeep of the buildings and grounds.
Essential Job Functions:
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those
that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The
employee is frequently required to walk; sit; and use hands for
fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel,
crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up
to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral
vision.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are
representative of those an employee encounters while performing the
essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather
conditions. The employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
The noise level in the work environment varies but is usually
moderate.
Terms of Employment: Performance of this position will be evaluated
annually in accordance with Board policy on evaluation of
classified staff.
